She can also be seen in Tyler Perry's smash film, Why Did I Get Married? Alongside Perry along with Janet Jackson as well as independent films Frozen Peas, and Born Guilty. She has also appeared in Shattered! Never Die Alone and American Adobo. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Keesha following her graduation. Keesha chose to pursue a career in theatre after graduating Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Fine Arts. She was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel as well as debuted Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. She also played eight roles in the interactive comic Eat the Runt. Other theatrical performances comprise Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read along with playwright August Wilson himself. Keesha's work includes directing episodes from "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?" and short films One Day Lillian and Half Off. Keesha created Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll. She also has a variety of original projects in research. After the popularity of her debut album "Santa Baby" Keesha is making a complete album to show off her gorgeous voice.
